    dont worry, not from heart....lol

Through the mirror of my mind
    Time after time
I see reflections of you and me

    Reflections of
The way life used to be
    Reflections of
The love you took from me

    Oh, I'm all alone now
    No love to shield me
    Trapped in a world
    That's a distorted reality

    Happiness you took from me
    And left me alone
    With only memories

Through the mirror of my mind
Through these tears that I'm crying
    Reflects a hurt I can't control
    'Cause although you're gone
    I keep holding on
    To the happy times
    Oh, when you were mine

As I peer through the window
    Of lost time
    Looking over my yesterdays
And all the love I gave all in vain
(All the love) All the love
    That I've wasted
(All the tears) All the tears
    That I've tasted
    All in vain

Through the hollow of my tears
    I see a dream that's lost
    From the hurt
    That you have caused

    Everywhere I turn
    Seems like everything I see
Reflects the love that used to be

    In you I put
    All my faith and trust
    Right before my eyes
My world has turned to dust

    After all the nights
    I sat alone and wept
    Just a handful of promises
Are all that's left of loving you

    Reflections of
The way life used to be
    Reflections of
The love you took from me

    In you I put
    All my faith and trust
    Right before my eyes
My world has turned to dust...

Havent thought about that in years, China Beach was a great programme alright, bloody depressing though. The final season was very strange, it was mostly set after the war with lots of flashbacks.

The theme song was the best supremes song ever, not a well known one though.

AFAIK it hasn't been repeated in a long time, I taped some or maybe all of the episodes about 7 or 8 years ago. I must go looking for them later, I want to watch it again now.

CHINA BEACH was (and still is) one of the greatest TV series ever.
I'd love to see a re-run of it.

    .
    .
Unfortunately it will never get a boxset release on DVD (due to the high costs of licensing the classic motown music that featured heavily in the show).

Brilliant, brilliant show! Tried to never miss an episode. It was compulsive viewing for a Monday night at 9.30 on RTE 1 (see, I can even remember the time slot they used to show it in! :D ).

And what guy couldn't fancy Colleen McMurphy, eh? Even at that young age I know I sure did! ;):D

Yeah, the last series was a bit of a disappointment, I thought. Wasn't mad on that whole "interviewing the characters/flashback thing" they did for the last series. Perhaps if I were to watch it nowadays I'd find it more interesting but, at the time, I prefered the more action packed, blood-and-guts filled episodes of the previous series! :D

Even to this day when I see Marg Helgenberger in 'C.S.I' I still always, first and foremost, associate her with her role as the slutty "good-time girl" K.C.! ;) And anytime I see the doctor in 'Voyager' I always remember him working in a Vietnam M.A.S.H. unit, covered in blood and guts trying to save some poor, screaming G.I.'s life....... back, of course, when he still had hair! :D

Great show. Would love to see it again repeated on one of the channels. Being older now, I think I'd appreciate it even more watching it nowadays.

Agreed on both counts :D I was very young when this was on and don't remember much of the show, other than it's setting and, looking at...well...erm... :o McMurphys tight T-shirt and what lies beneath :o:D

The theme tune was 'reflections' by Diana Ross and the Supremes, should be able to find it on most of her greatest hits collections

That song was so addictive, the memories.... Are there any repeats on telly?
