I have being the only user account on my machine running XP but now that my girlfriend and I have bought a house together, I've set her up as a user. However, I can't get her account to open word, excel etc.

Any idea's how to do this?

Are the programs refusing to run? What errors are you getting? Is she using a limited account or an full admin rights (aka traditional :)) account?

The problem is that there is no MS Office option in the start/program's list. My girlfriend is logged on as an admin.

That's easily rectified - in your account right-click on the start button and click "Explore". Then do it again and click "Explore All Users". You've now got the start menu trees open for specifically you and for all accounts. Drag the relevant shortcuts from yours into the all users tree. There are of course other ways to do it but I reckon this is the easiest one.
