    Hi,
Prima made an update today that removed the feature to show players hole cards when 1 or more players are all in.

Do you prefer the cards not to be shown? I know I prefer seeing the cards anyway. I want to show this poll to Prima so please vote:)

Any arguments for or against showing?

Definately, if only to stop smug gits from slow-rolling you. (I know this doesn't apply here as it's online you're talking about, but I wouldn't like it to be the norm in live games).

    Absolutely they should be shown,

P.S. Do you mean they've stopped showing them when all the chips go into the middle in a tournament or they no longer show them at showdown??

Yeah they don't show them unless it goes to the showdown and the player has Muck losing unchecked, which is never, so you wont see anyone elses cards unless they actually win the pot. :(

I normally don't show unless i know the player well. Otherwise they can call to see.

This is when they do call though. In casinos, it is commonplace to show the hands before the showdown if there is no more betting to take place.

Oh right, sorry i just scanned the post. I fully agree with them being shown when there is two or more players all-in, it has to be done live so why not on-line. Ridiculous IMO.

it has to be done live

Not in a cash game, only in tournies.

Does the prima HH let you see mucked losing cards like PokerStars does? If so not too much of an issue, more an annoyance. I definitely prefer to see them though.

Only if by "commonplace" you mean "unusual".

Makes the game more exciting - might as well get your moneys worth if you are getting your chips all in ...

Oscar, are you saying you don't think they should be shown in a cash game or they don't have to be shown?

Tom, what are you confused about?:o Are you trying it on AIP Tom yeah? Does it show them? That's strange if it does, all Prima skins should be using the same system.

Cormie on AIP, I think it has always been the case that in tournie games All in hands are exposed but in cash games they are not. Maybe this is what is causing the confusion.

I haven't actually played a tourny since:o I've been playing cash for the past few days and this is only a recent thing. Even asking at the tables, everyone else says the same thing, that it only happened on the 13th. Before they would show them:confused:

Hmmm, last time i played cash on Prima having moved from Laddies, hands were not revealed until showdown, Then, I remember them changing this at one point and hands were flipped.

It would appear they've gone back to their older system.

Do you like to see others cards though;)

In high stakes poker (cash game) sometimes they showed their cards, sometimes not.

Who would consider it bad etiquette to not show your hand in this situation in a live game if the other person has already flipped theirs over?

If someone flips their cards over I will tell them if they are ahead or not and may say that I have a pair/ draw whatever but its certainly not bad etiquette to not flip just because the other person showed their hand out of turn.

I like to know what I'm up against but I don't think my opponent should be forced to show his hand.
