Old Citroen Car?

    Hi, i'm really into vintages an i'd love to buy an old citroen (like the old blue garda cars from the 70's/80's) but i cant think of the model. Any ideas,? Thanks folks.

    Hi I think most of the Garda cars from that period were standard saloon cars with a squareish look, Citroens of the same era would be the CX, GS/GSA and the AMI and LNA all had a hatch back look about them. If you like I can post some pics of same if it helps narrow the field.

    Don't think the gardai ever used Citroen cars. The Renault 4 was used a lot in the 80's - obviously a cheap runabout but a bit too frail for Garda work.
    They I think used many of the Citroen vans though ( at least in the 80's) as I recall banging my head against the roof in one when it was being driven a bit too fast one night - and no I was not a 'customer' - I work in the joint.:rolleyes:
