Hey there, I'm thinking of camping in crotia. I will be driving there, 2 days driving to Italy then another day to Crotia. Have 3 weeks holidays so I have plenty of time to get there and back. So is there anyone out there that has been to Crotia and can recommend some good spots. Or better yet is there anyone out there that knows anything about the roads and motorways. I won't be pitching in any field... pitch pitch pitch, boom :) So approved sites only.
Are there any websites? I've found 1 but would like to see some more. Cheers.

We went to crotia for 10 days while interrailing. Started in Split and went Island hopping to Havar and Brac island. Make sure you go to Brac, there's this amazing beach there. Zlati Rat beach I think it's called. There's no other in the world like it.
We missed Dubrovnic but are heading back this year cause we heard its amazing.

The only thing is that a lot of the camp sites are quite far outside towns, so you may need to rent a car or a bike to get around, I would also think about going and renting out appartments, its a very cheap way to go. have a great time its a lovely country

    Hi Snipe,

There are loads of camp sites all around Croatia so you won't have any bother at all.

If you are going at the height of the season, be prepared for very busy roads, and ferry ports can be quite congested.

Do a search on Croatia, there's quite a few good suggestions on how to spend your holidays.

Enjoy ! I was there last week, and can't wait for September to go again.
