It's not too bad at all, about leaving cert level really. I'd say pick up a leaving cert book and start with that, or even start with a junior cert book if you aren't confident in your maths ability.

Don't worry man, that's pretty low-level easy stuff and since it's a year long course you'll have no trouble keeping up with it.

The most important thing in third level Maths is not getting bogged down by the stupid, unnecassarily complicated terminology.

As long as you get all the stuff at the start (that can seem easy at the time, but is quite easily forgotten) you should be ok

I would agree with the above. You've got a base in leaving cert maths, it's really just a follow in from that.
As far as I can remember, co-ordinate geometery, sets and probability were on the leaving cert pass paper.
It terms of texts books, I'd look to the "text and tests" series by O.D. Morris, I think there was a 5/6, they were what we used for the higher level paper.
Above all else, if for any reason you are confused in class, just ask - tbh, no lecturer wants to stand up and get no feedback.

Afterall you're paying them to teach you!

    Best of luck.
