    We are pleased to inform you that the UrBike project is having its first European Technical Seminar, in Dresden, on Friday 23 June 2006.

    UrBike is an European funded INTERREG project - a programme on
    cooperation between European local public authorities - promoting exchange of experience and researches about use of bicycle in urban mobility. It is lead by the Municipality of Sevilla, and running from 2004 to end 2006.

    This Seminar, co-organised by Municipality of Dresden and UrBike
    Technical Coordination for Municipality of Sevilla, will present the results so
    far achieved by UrBike to European local authorities and interested persons
    concerned by the subject. It will be an occasion to put urban bike local
    policies in perspective with European cooperation and European policies,
    evidence most positive approaches for this, and consider networking for
    new projects proposals.

    We would be pleased to meet you so as to exchange about our experiences
    in developing use of bike as an urban transport in our cities.
