Downloading speed

    I have broadband when im downloading music or that the speed is always about 50KB/sec but im downloading a movie file now and its only 10KB sec.

    Anyone know why this is?

    Anyone know how I can speed it up?

    He probably meant, what type of media are you downloading (like avi, mpeg) and what program are you using to download. If its a film you cant get here, chances are its illegal and cant be discussed here.

    Its not illegal.

    It might not be you. Possibility that it's the website your getting it from.

    If your using P2P software then you can only download as fast as other users can give and seeing as most ISP's in the world today give you a crappy upload limit don't expect this to be fast with a low number of people.

    To add if your using P2P, you can 'choke' your bandwidth by allowing the full use of your upload speed... I personally reserve 20kb/s from my 1mb up.
