Snowboarding in Milan

    I've just been looking at a package to go skiing for a few days in january and its very reasonably priced (flights extra) but it dosen't include Equipment hire. How much does it cost?. Also can you hire gear/clothing as well and whats the damage if so?

    Not sure about Italy but in Austria: Hire should be no more than 100 for the week. You'll need your own clothes.

    If it's your first time you'll also need lessons. They are wuite expensive.

    Hey

    I was snowboarding in Milan Jan just gone. In Foppolo about 1.5 hrs north of Milan Bergamo airport. Wicked cheap holiday and good fun allround. I had my own gear but the guys i was with rented theirs for 20euro a day or so - I'd bring your own gloves, trousers, jacket and goggles though - you can pick these up for very cheap in TK Maxx if you don't want to go mental on kit.
    The snow was not as good as some Austrian resorts but there were barely any queues and they had a snowboard funpark too which was class.
