    Hi,

I am thinking of going to Croatia or Naples on the 1st of July. Flight going to these two places next week are quoted at €269. At the moment, flights are approximately €500, will these prices drop closer to the date?
Also, can anyone recommend any travel agents or web site that are doing package deals to these places.

    Thanks a million
    Anthony

I know Croatia well, the prices will not drop closer the date.

Try malev airlines if Aer Lingus is expensive, also Ryanair go to Trieste, just over the border in Italy.

I highly recommend Croatia. www.croatiatours.ie good for packages

Naples, I can only say what I have heard ....is supposed to be pretty 'dodge', I'm sure it may be just some parts, but I wouldn't take a chance.

I read Maradonas autobiography that sorta spells a similar picture of Naples.

I was in Sorrento last year and the train goes through Naples to get there. While admittedly I wasn't out and about in the city, what I saw would not encourage me to visit the city. It was grimy and extremely run down. I spoke to a friend about it when I got home and it turned out that he had spent a couple of days on business there a year or two ago, and his opinion was that it was a complete kip and well dodgy. My advice would be to stick with Croatia.

Would not recommend Naples - its extremely dodgy as the previous poster stated, I did not feel safe there at all. It is however a gateway to Ischia, Capri and Sorrento which are lovely :)
