I've been using two broadband connections in my home an office

    the connection details
    Office:
Eircom Broadband DSL with static IP
    3 Mbps Download speed
    Zycel 600 series prestige.
Configured with the Redhad linux 8.0 as internet server gateway with VPN

    Home
    Digiweb DSL with Static IP
    Zycel 600 series modem
    Same server as office.

now, my problem is i can't connection within these two ips, even pinging is not possible.the two ips are started with the 83.xxx.xxx.xxx. i want to connect within these ips. it is happens with the all ip addresses starts with the 83.xxx.xxx.xxx. other than that all of them working normal.

i checked this connections from US(in my client place). both servers are connected well from there and i can connect them from the both home and office.
the exact problem is i can't connect within these ips. i tried all things, like port forwarding and obtaining an dynamic dns service for both ips.

please suggest me a solution!

What is the subnet mask for each address? Might each device think that the other address is a local address?

yes! they are in the same subnet . 255.255.255.0 .. i've to change it now!

Edit : i've changed my home subnet mask to another address, but the problem is still there. i still can't connect after changing the settings.

Your subnet mask shouldn't have been 255.255.255.0. It should probably have been 255.255.255.255. Ditto for your work settings.

What did you set it to?

You should probably check with your ISP but I reckon that's your problem.

    Regards,

    Liam
