    Watch trailer here! (WMV 3.65MB)

Love Borat myself... but this trailer is terrible!

Jokes are forced and obvious... but it couldn't possibly be any worse than the Ali G movie!

    (or could it?)

PS - also find it very weird that Larry Charles is directing it!

This is some kind of late April Fools, isn't it?

    Please let it be...

Throw the producer down the well!

No, actually I liked that ad. I just get the bad feeling the movie is going to be an overblown borefest with 2nd rate actors who want to be 'in' on the joke and some ponderous plot about saving the world.

Why can't these spin-off shows just learn from Jackass and do a movie that is more or less exactly like your tv show? :( That's all we want! Maybe Borat will fit this Maxim but somehow I doubt it.

I find Sacha Baron Cohen one of the most unfunny people around at the moment. I'll have to agree with Pigman about Jackass doing it right, but even if Borat followed this standard, I'm not sure it would be any good.

Speaking of Cohen though, one film I am rather looking forward to is Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby, in which he plays a Frenchman.

The trailer doesn't look too bad but pretty much every joke in the trailer was done before in the series. Bad sign.

    Looks like a laugh :)

Looks cool. I hope it will be (like the ad suggests) 90 odd minutes of Borat mucking around at the expense of unwitting Americans. That's as complex as I want this film to be.

I am ashamed to admit I laughed at that trailer.
