Zen Micro - Easy to use?

Just order a Zen Microphoto 8GB for my better half for her birthday. She's computerless, so I'll pretty much be putting all her music on it for her - I've order the charger kit from creative too!

But she's the complete opposite of me - no interest in technology and gets frustrated when she can't figure stuff out.

Is it easy enough to get the hang of?

Well Creative UI's are usually pretty good, but the last time I used a Zen Micro the touch pad really pissed me off. That was a first gen one though so hopefully they've improved since then. The touchpad on my Vision:m is way better than the older Creatives.

Haven't seen that particular model, but most of the Creatives (that I have seen) have been easy enough to use, although I couldn't really work the one with the click-wheel-like thing

Is it much better. While I could use the one on the Zen Micro ok, |I wasn't in love with it either.

Yeah, I was a bit worried about it after having trouble with both the micro and the touch, but it's much easier to use.

Got it this morning (gotta love DHL). Very nice little machine. Touchpad seems a little overly sensitive for my big turfcutters (keeps clicking when I'm trying to scroll), but I'd probably get used to that.

I went and ordered a Zen sleek for myself, cos I though the Micro was so cool, and my 4GB Muvo^2 just isn't big enough anymore. Some good offers on creative.ie at the moment - particularly when you compare the prices to komplett or some of the other sites.
