    Daily Tech

Have posted an article about AMD's propsed price cuts once Conroe hits.....
    * AMD Athlon 64 price cuts will receive price cut up to 30%
    * AMD Athlon 64 X2 will receive price cuts up to 50%
    * AMD Sempron processors will receive price cuts up to 15%

    We may see a ~€150 X2 3800:eek:

    This is great news:)

P.s There was no mention of OPteron price cuts, they will more than likely remain high as they are in demand.........

Can't find the link at the moment but I think Intel are planning similar price cuts (trying to grab some market share back from AMD is what I read).

    Roll on July 24th I sense another x2 3800+ magically appearing :)

BTW: The special deal pricing for the single core models appears to be in place on Komplett.

Lucky for me I'm planning on building a PC between now and the end of the year.

Unlucky for me, I won't have the cash for any of it for the next couple of months. Hope these price cuts stick around 'till then.

Excellent news, unfortunately I bought my X2-3800 about a month ago. Nasty!

You never gave me more to go on with that PM Conzy.

Well, the prices for Socket 939 kit are only going one way. down. So you'll be able to pick up a nice processor at a bargain.

Looks like Overclockers have now started cutting the x2 range prices. The 4200+ is going for €296. The retail version is going for €359. They surely couldnt be charging an extra €60 for shiny box and a fan?
