World Cup data?

    Howdy,

We have a small World-Cup betting pool going on in our office; I'd like to write a quick web app to show who's winning and who's losing, etc.

So I was wondering, does anyone know if there's a data feed out there (an XML file would be just peachy) with the current world cup scores and such for each team? I could write a data miner for http://soccernet.espn.go.com/tables?league=fifa.world&cc=5739, but if there were a neater data source than that, I'd prefer to use it.

    Cheers :D

    John

Yeah, but is there a data source for that? Basically what I'd like would be an XML data file (or similar) of team scores, goal counts, etc, which I could then import into my web app and use to calculate who's currently winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in our office pool.

As I said, I could write a data-miner that could scrape the data out of the HTML on the ESPN page, but that's messy; I'd much rather use a data feed, if such a thing were out there, and access the data directly... any thoughts?
