I use laptop/projector via s-video for visual and was wondering:

Is s-video more demanding on the bulb than say standard rca or rf. I am ouptutting @ 800x600.

Is it possible to be knocked out of focus when doing this?

I mainly have powerpoint slideshows running on the laptop.

The connection you are using should make no difference to the bulb. The biggest change would be the brightness you have the projector set at.
