    hi,

im trying to put songs onto a sony mp3 player (the new purple ones)

i put songs on before with sonic stage, it worked fine,

now when i do it this happens.....it says theres 14 ish gigs free, then when i go to transfer something an error comes up saying "media/device memory full" or something to that effect,

now i know the memory is not full, even if i check the volume in my computer there is loads of memory left,

anyway after i click ok on this message, it says 0 memory left,

ive tried rebooting, re-starting the programs etc but to no avail

anyone else have this problem or any ideas?????????????????????????/

Is it one of the new sony walkman mp3 players? Like this one here http://www.mp3newswire.net/Graphics/5002/Sony_Walkman.jpg . If so, do you not need to put the songs onto it using CONNECT Player, the software that came with it. I have one of these mp3 players and thats the software I use.

AFAIK you can use either the connect software or SonicStage. I'm noit familiar with that player. You don't have to set data/music paritions do you?
