Duke Special, Whelan's Friday 16th

    Folks,
    If you're about on Friday, I really, really recommend heading along to Whelan's to see Duke Special. He's from Belfast, and you'll catch him near the end of his tour of the UK and Ireland. The tickets should be about €12 or so I think. He's just signed to V2 records in London, so this should be the start of something great.

    I'll be there. Saw him at the Choice Music Prize back in february & was well impressed. should be a good gig

    Well i went and it was an absolutely amazing gig i thought, everything just came together beautifully , the Elliot smith cover was cool although i cant remember which song it was now(waltz#2?) and your man Chip Bailey is a legend . So eh whos going to Portlaois?;)

    I had to go back up north, so I couldn't make it to Saturdays's gig.
    Can't wait for the next round of gigs :)
