Getting a 'system malfuntion or power loss'. Frustrating as hell, anyone got similar and a workaround/solution?

Else I'm gonna last Vista on it for a test.

    Cheers

Not familiar with the error myself but a Google search on the topic "mce system malfunction or power loss error" showed that a few people solved it by re-installing the driver for their TV tuner & graphics card (?).

It seems to be related to bugs in the standby sub-system of Windows which from what I know is a tricky beast. If the driver re-install cures the problem you could use this MCE Standby plug-in & set the machine to auto reboot every once in a while to avoid any further hiccups.
