i'll be putting a Badass II bridge on my mim jazz (unless there are better suggestions).
want some new tuners too but i dont have a clue, suggestions please? i'm afraid i have to be a bitch and insist on them having a classic look like these http://www.chrisguitars.com/par-fen69basstuners.jpg but i dont really want to go down the vintage route.

Hipshot ultralites though make sure you get the right bushing measurement and stick with the Badass, it's a proven winner on a Jazz bass. Where are you getting the bridge from?

Shop around on ebay and you'll pick one up for about $50-60 new. One thing to bear in mind is that you need to file a little groove for the string to sit in in the top of each saddle, which you may or may not want to bring to a pro to get done.

The hipshots are almost standard on every high end Fender-clone bass out there, they're lighter than the usual ones too so there isn't as much neck dive. They're well built and stay in tune. Quality stuff. In fact, I'm getting a badass and the hipshots on the hotwire bass I'm getting built :)
