How to remove reg key on computer

I downloaded a computer program for statistical analysis that gave me a free trial, but forgot to use it within the trial period. Now i've heard that it would be particularly useful for my research, but want to 'try before i buy'. Problem is that i cannot access the trial. Re-downloading doesn't work.

Think there might be something like a registry key on my computer that prevents a re-download working, because it keeps a note that the program has previously been downloaded.

Is there anyway i can remove the registry key (if that is what it is), so i can use the free trial period again?

I emailed the company, but they weren't any help.

Note: I'm not trying to ask something illegal, like how to use the program for free. Any data created gets lost at the end of the trial period anyway, so constant renewal wouldn't be of any benefit. Just want to access the free trial period, that i forgot to use the first time, before i make a decision to buy it.

All my data is on this computer, and cannot conveniently move it to another computer.

Anyway, any help would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You could probably search the registery with regseeker and if you find anything relating to that program delete it. I dont know if that will work so you could try Crap Cleaner too.
