Agressiion in live games?

Anyone playing in the SE cash games last night ? I dont go there often but there were 2 instances of a highly agressive nature on 2 tables, one player kept at it for at least 25 mins.

loser of hand: "you call to the river with a pair of 3's, do you even know how to play you ****ing idiot?" coninues to be quite aggressive to the winner, other players at the table make the point that if you put your chips down you can play any hand you want. Continues to be agressive, then says later that he didnt mean to sound nasty, then goes on another outburst. TD nowhere to be seen. Later the same guy goes at it again after losing another hand.

another instance. preflop raise and reraise from guy with K K, called by 88. Pot 220. flop A 5 x. K K holder bets another 55 all in, 88 calls, turn an 8, river a 5.

    K K shows, 88 shows house. K K holder quietly utters "retard" to 8 8 caller.

Do you think this sort of verbal abuse should be tolerated at the tables? I personally would not chastise anyone for catching a lucky hand, they put in the their money in the pot and take the same chance as the rest of us, no harm, even though it is a loose place, but you can alter your game to suit this.

Q: Should dealers and TD's take more responsibility for their roles and be very strict in dealing with this sort of activity?

i cant stand people who are aggressive at the table.. and IMO anyone who vicously slags off another player (as is the case above) should be given a month ban from the casino.

Par for the course in that place from my experience.

Ive played their in cash games maybe 5/6 times every single visit there is an atmosphere at the table and you are treated to tirades in the "right" way to play. I dont like the atmosphere but it is an aquarium, see Gholis thread, the other thing is that you really need to just find hands and bet the hell outa them there is no real thought provoking play in the place.

I hate these idiots making comments, its bad for keeping the fishys who just play for a laugh/enjoyment etc playing, they wont play in such a confrontational climate. When this happens i might wind the muppet opening his mouth up a bit by saying "ahh it was obvious you were bluffing", or "KK vs 88 is basically a coinflip preflop" etc, watch their faces nearly explode and physically witness the tilt set in!

If you feel that this kind of behaviour is unbearable you should tell security/floor manager/poker manager. No point in moaning about it and doing nothing.

i'm not moaning, i can handle myself no probs, just wondering what other people think, i wasnt involved in any of it.

Sorry I may have come across wrong there, I wasn't accusing the original poster of being lily-livered about standing up for himself, I just meant that someone came across unpleasanly aggressive and intimidating players that the first thing he/she should do is to tell someone in charge so that it doesn't continue.

I've been at tables in the Fitz when all the drunken fish come in early on a saturday night 3am ish. A gruff regular or two got outdrawn and fish was gleeful to have made $$$. Regulars got angry and said some things, fish said fcuk this and went.
So on top of being unpleasant to hear it drives bad players away from the game when they get criticised.

If card room managers really want to keep the regulars happy but also for their clubs to get a good reputation amongst casual players they need to have a good atmosphere in the place.

I think HJ said it in another thread, the discussion where people get angry and there's loads of arguments are the most entertaining ones.

Not a boardsie. It was on the 1st feeder table and I heard it when playing on the main table. The guy plays once every few weeks and is a mouth. his brother is the same. both give out free lessons at the table. Absolute cnuts.
