Looks to me that both those guys are guilty of assault.

It was a good punch, but maybe calling the police and keeping an eye on the guy is a better way to handle this? Having said that, at least the man did something rather, than leaving the original attacker walk away scot free.

Hmm, it seems odd that a teenager would walk into a group where he was outnumbered and start randomly punching people. Could have been someone with a genuine mental health issue as opposed to your usual happy slapping scum.

I did enjoy a different video where a happy slapper got what was coming to him

Although i dont believe that the boxer handled that in the best possible way, I do admire his courage, very few people will get involved in altercations in todays world, myself included, for fear of "what is that guy on"/"whats he carrying" or worse both.

Its bad enough to assault a man, not to be sexist/chauvenist, but what he did to that girl i find personally sickening. I play hurling, aswell as doing MA, i have to say id find it hard, if i was there with my gear or in similar circumstances, not to belt the little s*!t with the hurl, given id have the hurl id be a little more confident confronting him.

NO, im not a scumbag just cant describe how i feel about hitting women.

I do however cheer for the ex-boxer - proving that you may get away with it 99% of the time, but its that 1% that will get you in the end

I am a bit dodgy on the realism of the video. For a start..the jacket the kid wares. I mean come on. No way! Secondly ...the beardy bloke who tried to intervene? I thought crack addicts were soppoused to be violent. And thirdly.....this is meant to be in America , right? The dude would not have punched him out because he would have shot him with his NRA approved side arm of choice. Except he would have shot him sooner. At the first punch. Maybe sooner. Maybe as soon as he put on that jacket....

In my opinion I'd say the attacker knew the victim and deliberately singled him out (theres probably a history there). The mates who didnt get involved probably knew him/his mates/ his background, and were afraid of possible repercussions if they intervened.
I highly doubt a lone attacker would randomly plough into a group of complete strangers (in case they were ninjas/ police etc. etc.) and he obviously had no hidden back-up in case things went wrong.
Anyway glad to see him get chinned scumbag
