    Hi guys!

Anyone know of a rodent experienced vet in the Waterford area, Waterford City preferably? I have a Campbells Dwarf hamster in need of attention asap. I would usually go to Bairbre O'Malley in Bray or Pat O'Doherty in Gilabbey, Cork but can't get away from work until next Saturday. Thanks for your help!!

As far as I know there is no exotics vet in Waterford, the only thing you could do is go to the best vet you can find there and if they are usure what to do with the hamsters you can give them the exotic vets phone numbers and they can discuss what to do together. What's the problem with the hammies?

The vets in city vets are quite good with small animals. I don't think the get many in but I bring mine there( rabbit and hamster) and I've always been really happy with them.

Thanks for your advice guys! My poor Buster has a recurring tooth problem. He has a molar which grows irregularly, and tends to curve in a crescent shape in towards his tongue. This has to be trimmed every couple of months. At the moment he has an infection in his right eye, the same side as the irregularly growing tooth. Also he's sniffling and coughing. So I'm worried that this time the renegade tooth may have punctured the roof of his mouth. I've scruffed him, but can't see far enough into the back of his mouth to check. My poor little guy! Here's a pic of the tooth which was removed the last time we saw the vet http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e151/GeneGenie/Tooth/IMG_0659.jpg
