    Hi,
Having problems with my hp laptop for the 3rd time basically whats happening is that the the computer is not picking up the power supply problem with the power jack you notice down the corner near the time it flashing between battery and been plugged when you have plugged in . Its a pavillion zd 7050. This happened twice before and eventually it stops picking up the power supply altogther and the laptop battery dies. Now I have had the laptop 3 years and It happened first time had to send it back and it was still under warranty so wasnt too bad was ok for a year then it happened again had to send it back cost me 400 quid because it was out of warranty now it is happening again. The last two times they never gave me any reason why it happened just said they replaced the motherboard and here is the bill. I dont fancy paying it again is there any case I have if it is out of warranty but the problem keeps coming back seems a yearly thing?? anyone had similar problems with hp laptops

    cheers

    eoghan

I've had similar problems with laptops myself. If you're luck the problem is the power cord and it's connector as opposed to the port it plugs into. If it's just a powerc cord problem you can pick one up relatively cheap to having to repair the actual port.
