One thing they have in the pipeline is a compund called DADLE (the formula was muchos complicated, I'll post it later). Just reading the latest RSC monthly, there was a pretty good article on suspended animation. One thing they have in the pipeline is a compund called DADLE (the formula was muchos complicated, I'll post it later). By injecting it into squirrells, they can make them hibernate during the summer.

NASA and the ESA are looking into it deeply; mainly for their mission to mars. By their calculations, it would take 30 tons of food to support a 6 man team for the journey over to mars - not to mention the sheer boredom of being concious for that length of time!

Anyone else want to share anything they know?
