Villain is good and tight. He makes it 20 utg, I make it 70 to go, he calls. (With AK). The flop is 9JKr. He checks I bet 120 he calls. Turn T, we both check. River J he checks. I think there is almost no chance I have the best hand here, (maybe a split but I dont think so). I dont think he has that strong a hand though as he checked the river. The pot is about 350 and we both have 400 behind.

I'm confused about what better hand you think he's playing this way. Do you think he is checking a jack to you because he's afraid of the straight? Surely if he's checking a house to you then he figures you're not strong and is doing this in the hopes of inducing a bluff or a value bet from a straight.

EDIT: My confusion has produced a confused post I see. You obviously don't think he's checking a house since you don't think he's strong, hence my original confusion.

He probably has AA, maybe AK.

His image of me is a tough question, im not sure exactly he definitely knows im a big winner. We havent played many hands together, but Im sure he has seen me bluff a lot. Not this session though (too early in the morning for big bluffs).

From his point of view :
You have reraised him pre-flop that certainly takes you off any hand that would contain a J unless it was JJ which is not likely.
You could have KK here which would have some merits playing the hand this way being scared of the QQ here and then hitting your FH on the river but then again you would value bet this and not go all in as if you don’t want a caller.
You could have AA here in which case an all in certainly does not make sense.

Now taking his hand range in to account:
AA is a hand he may fold here however he would reraised you pre flop more than likely.
KK don’t really need to say anything about this.
AK is the only hand here that you may be able to get him off it but then again I think its too much of a risk .
I think its best to check behind here.

I think it's best to let this one go, but I'd need some more info on the villain.
