    Stench of Redemption.

FINALLY!!!! Deicide return with some awesome material, this work of unrelenting death metal mastery truly urinates with pejudice all over Scars of the Crucifix. That new Scantilla or whatever guy on guitar breathes new life into the band, and Glenn's vocals are far more disciplined and controlled since his stay with Vital Remains. There's some obvious influence from Vital Remains in here too, but not so much as to diminish the Deicide sound. Buy it. Now.

That would be Ralph Santolla (Mr. Ralph Santolla to you ;) ) who happened to be Chuck Schuldiner's right hand man during the Individual Thought Patterns tour. (Among many other achievements, of course).

As for the new EP - I only heard a snippet of a new song and it sounds very promising!

Edit: Is "snippet" even a word?
