    Hi

Twice today I ran into a player who min raised with AK - very frustrating as there is no real read on it .:confused:Feel like taking out the shotgun !
Any Advice on how to look out for this ,or is it a good play ?- From what I know it is definatly not, but I may be wrong .

    Thanks in Advance - DWS

Many people limp with AK too, reading that is tricky too untill post flop play.

I've started to treat a minraise as a limp as different people do it with very different hands and I can't get a read on what they have. So I go ahead and reraise with hands that I would usually raise with with a limper before me and see what happens from there.
If I'm reraised, like a limp reraise I'd going to be very suspicious.

Minraising is very rarely good play (unless you're playing limit, ha ha ha:rolleyes:)

Ah , that's very sound advice - won't have to go wasting money on shotgun bullets now  - Thanks
