    Hi All,
I am trying to convince the management company of an apartment block to erect a communal sat dish with 3 lnb's, i.e. 13, 19 and 28. I think these 3 would cover most nationality interests.
What I am looking for is a list of countries covered by sat position. For example 28 is generally UK an Irish TV. 19 would cover German. In what direction would our polish, Latvian etc want to point at? Would 19 and 13 cover most of the eastern European requirements?
    Thanks

Those satellites would cover you well.
Most Polish stuff is on Hotbird @ 13 degrees east with alot of FTA as well as Polsat and Cyfra+ packages if they want to subscribe.
Astra 1 @ 19 degrees east covers German, French, Spanish and Dutch very well as well as many others.

13 & 19 has Italian, Polish, French, German, Greek, Arabic, Farsi, and about 40 other languages.

With a 90cm to 1.2m you might get 5E too. Russian, Ukranian etc.

In fact, with 13/19/28 theres not many countries likely to have anyone in Ireland -not- represented by at least one channel, free or pay. Theres Nepali channels on 13E, for instance...

13e has Kurdish, Turkish, Iranian, Israeli, Palestinian, Armenian, Polish, French, Italian, Russian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Spanish, Korean, Thai, Chinese Portuguese, American (WorldNet and AFRTS), Cuban, and Greek channels along with a large number of African and Middle Eastern channels

I'd agree that those 3 birds would be a big benefit. It would make the apartment block one of very few that would cater for such a wide variety of nationalities and channels.

And very marketable, if I can get it sorted.
