A short survey on Grants

Hello,

As some of you know, I bought a website a few months ago with a view of increasing the knowledge and information given out to students about the grant scheme. One part which I plan to have on it is a 'frequently asked questions' of the scheme, and so I need help as to which questions should be up there!

I've put together what I think is a very short survey, but it might take some time since it refers to the application form (which itself is very detailed). You can answer them here if you really wish, or else by PM'ing me, or if you don't want to be identified you can use the form I placed here:

1. How many years have you been receiving the grant?

2. In your first year receiving it, how easily was the documentation collected and prepared?

3. Was there anything about the application form you did not understand?

4. How long did it take for you to collate the documentation?

5. Was there anything else you did not understand?

6. Anything else you'd like to add?

1. First year getting the grant
2. Quite difficult, the tax documents were the worst to get hold of.
3. Yeah, i had to fill in a second one. Some of the questions about types of income were misleading and were way too detailed.
4. About 4 weeks, my application went in late
5. Don't think so
6. Payment by Cheque is a pain in the hole unless you bank in the same branch and bank as your local authority does. Can take up to 5 working days to clear. They should do it by PayPath.
