    Hi,

Over the last week I've found 3 dead birds (A thrush and 2 starlings) at my house all had been eaten, two were on the ground and one was on top of a pallet of bricks, all were within 10 ft of each other, any ideas what did this?

My cats are always killing birds, the little feckers.

Didn't look like the work of a cat.

Keep an eye out for a sparrowhawk... they will stash food for a while when they are feeding young.

I think Sparrowhawks are known for having plucking posts...favorite places where they bring, pluck and eat their prey. Maybe another possibility is peregrine falcon...much less common than sparrowhawk, but can handle larger birds.
