    bit of a longshot this...anyone ever played here and would they recommend for some cash action next week?

    please tell me it's 'English only' at the tables too!! Ay Caramba!!:)

    AFAIK the stakes are massive, at the festivals 5/10 Pot limit was the smallest and I cant see it being any different during the year, and Im guessing its mainly Catalan at the table

    where do those crazy catalans get the money anyway....

    alright, thanks for the tip - sounds a bit rich for me so I shall have to stick to eating tapas, drinking vino and enjoying one of the nicest cities in the world <sigh>

    Its wierd when you haven't a clue whats being said at the tables in a live game, played in Riga while over there, they were defo talking about how to take my chips, think the dealer put manners on them, thankfully, I came 2nd in the mtt. Stayed away from the cash tables...

    I have this problem a lot, the dealer will say something like 'your bet sir' or else 'string bet' and I will look at them uncomprehendingly with drool coming out of my mouth...damn foreigners, can't trust 'em

    Was there in Feb. Very little poker action.
    1 half full Omaha 10/20 table & 1 half full Pot Limit Holdem 5/10.
    About 200 playing blackjack & roulette a few feet away though.:eek:

    hmmm, looks like i won't be playing poker there next week either, that sounds a little above my bankroll.
