Anybody would recommend a place to have a car resprayed in North Dublin? There must be lads of those, I just dont know where to start really. Closest to home I suppose.

I'll jump on this band wagon and put in my own question question :D :

How much (ballpark) is a respray if you gave a car with all bupers and stuff off and they had to do a full strip down of paint and a repaint?

    'stang,

I was horrified with the price I got to respray my Series III SWB landrover. I offered to strip, etch coat and prime - The only thing I'd want done would be colour and clearcoat.

2K was the ballpark price I was quoted by several people for a solid gray paint. I'd have been doing the real donkeywork and paying them to ice the cake so to speak. Feck that. I'm working on it myself - Looks like a bag of s*** at the moment but I'm getting there.

    Scandalous.

Yes 2k is about what I expect... in the real world, unfortunately. I wish I had the space to do some of the job myself as the most imjportant is preparation and the more time you spend on preparing the better the result will be, since time = money...

    I am bracing myself...

May be if we go as a group we can get a discount?? :)
