Seats on the special Trains travelling from Cork, Mallow and Charleville to Thurles for the All-Ireland Hurling Quarter finals (Cork-v-Limerick and Galway-v-Kilkenny) on Saturday, 22nd July 2006 will go on sale hereat 10.30hrs on Friday, 14th July 2006.

Regular services to and from Thurles for Saturday 22nd of July are already on sale and can be booked here.

GAA fans will also be able to purchase rail tickets for the special trains by contacting the Telesales number (021) 455-7185. Tickets for other sporting events are already on sale here.

All aboard!

Cork Week 2006, which gets underway tomorrow in Crosshaven, is set to be a particularly busy one for Bus Éireann. The bus company will be transporting thousands of sailors and spectators to and from the Royal Cork Yacht Club, until the early hours of the morning.

A constant shuttle service will be in operation to and from RCYC, the oldest sailing club in the world, running until 3am and 4am, ensuring people can dance the night away at the many festivities taking place as part of the famous event.

Special park n ride services will be in operation from Gashes Field, Crosshaven to the Royal Cork Yacht Club from tomorrow, Saturday July 15th and will continue throughout the week.

The services will operate at the following times:
Saturday 15th July: 19.00-03.30
Sunday 16th July: 14.00-03.30
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 17th to 19th July inclusive: 19.00-03.00
Thursday 20th July/Friday 21st July: 19.00-04.00

All Ireland Football Championship - Westmeath V. Dublin, Croke Park, Saturday 12th August 2006 by Corporate Communications

Due to the Bank of Ireland Senior Football Championship quarter-final match taking place at Croke Park on Saturday 12th August 2006 between Westmeath and Dublin, Iarnród Éireann will be operating two Special services from Mullingar to Connolly to accommodate passengers travelling to the match.

Special services will depart Mullingar at 12.30hrs & 13.15hrs.

Return services depart Connolly Station at 18.10hrs & 19.25hrs.

Day Return Tickets are priced Adult €15.50 & Child €7.50.

Tickets booked 5 days in advance will be sent by post. Tickets purchased after this date should be collected at Mullingar Booking Office.

Special Coach Services to ELECTRIC PICNIC at Stradbally Hall - Published - 17th August 2006

Bus Éireann will be providing special coach services on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 September 2006 from Dublin to Stradbally Hall, Co. Laois for fans attending ELECTRIC PICNIC Concerts.

Coaches will depart from Custom House Quay from 10.00 to 19.00* on Friday, 1 September (Hourly service from 10:00 until 15:00 and thereafter on demand) and from 10:00 to 14:00 on Saturday, 2 September.

Coaches will return to Dublin immediately after the concert on Sunday and again Monday morning from 07:00 to 12:00.

Return ticket price €25.00.
