On the train yesterday (Connolly - Coolmine, 18:04) I saw two security guards at Broombridge. Their ID badges said "STT" (Security for Troublesome Trains" ? :p ).
This seems new?. There were no kids hanging around scribbling graffiti.
    Good to see.

No. One had a quick chat with the train driver but neither boarded the train.
I rang the Suburban section of Irish Rail (703-4368) who said that they are "probably" mobile patrols.
Could be part of the "Rail Security" mentioned at STT website.
