    Ok this is very random but I am wondering does anyone know where or who i could contact about getting a copy of this final? Tried RTE but they dont keep copies that far back. Any ideas?

    Tough one, were Video Recorders around then?.... I don't think so, not in general use anyway, TV only went colour in 1971.

    You could try UTV and BBC Ulster as well.

    Google and E-Bay..... you just never know.

    Maybe the county boards of the respective finalists (Dublin V Kerry) would be another option.

    RTE must have it in their archives somewhere, they are probably just fobbing you off.

    Are you sure they televised monor finlas back then? If so, RTE would definitely have it unless they lent it to TG4 for the Laochra Gael show and never got it back! Nemeton make that show, you could try them at www.nemeton.ie
