This forum seems as dead as CoD 2 (no offence)

We got our patch! A long time ago actually (although not long enough if you ask me...).

I haven't played CoD in a while myself for 3 reasons:

    1) Personal reasons
    2) Broken mouse (new MX518 arrived today though!)
    3) I have an IBB connection (really thinking of going back to BT though)

I'm dying to start playing CoD2 again properly! But it's so frustrating to play with a bad connection.

We got a Patch, not the patch we were expecting at all. There still is the bloody awful hit box issue. Its clear to see that the lads at IW are getting paid more by M$ to develop and Improve the 360 version rather than the PC version. The 360 version has something like 9 more maps and online fixes expected before Q4 06, whereas nothing has been mentioned about the next PC patch, and what it will fix/improve.

And as for CoD3 being announced for the 'next gen consoles' rather then the good old PC it made its legacy on, what a load of crap, this is the final slap in the face for a lot of fans loyal to the series.

I'm personally starting to think there is no issue with the hit-boxes... I think we are all under the impression that there is an issue because of the anti-lag system. That's just my opinion anyway...

I'm back to UO for the last 2 months. Much more to those games.
    Base Assault rocks.

I'm still playing COD2. And for me (on ISDN), the anti-lag system's a blessing. It's one of the few games I can actually play and not get my ass handed to me due to connections.
Plus I can pwn people on BB, and damn it feels good. :D
