Not wanting to sound cheeky, but how much upwards of 28k as that seems fairly low for a unix admin ?

I'd say that is the lower scale alright, but it is outside Dublin i guess.

Guys depending on experience here, the salary will go as far as 35k. 3 Years experience isn't a whole lot in the grand scale of things.

Please send in CV's regardless of experience and we will consider you all. We have a couple of junior positions coming aswell, which I'll post specs for next week.

I agree

I always find it (a little) funny when people are upset that 1, 2 or 3 years experience is necessary.

I do understand getting your first job is difficult though.

As I posted in another thread, that's a good general rule for all jobs (excepto of course if they're looking for 20 years experience )

Unix admins are ten a penny these days I hear. Good Unix admins are just as rare as ever.
