etickets - Slightly worried

    Hey all,
I'm flying to Atlanta tomorrow and I've got a question. I booked online with ebookers and recieved an electronic ticket reciept thing. Now, there are two problems.

    1) Its say Ms instead of Mr. I've tried to get ebookers to change it and issue a new one but all they'll do is inform the airline. They won't issue a new eticket.

    2) At the end of the eticket it says
"MPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TRAVELLERS WITH ELECTRONIC TICKETS - PLEASE READ.
For travellers outside the United States of America, this e-ticket receipt may not meet all the criteria required by non-US based airlines or to pass airport security checks. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR TRAVEL AGENT to ensure you have the correct documentation prior to departure."

What the hell does this mean? The ever helpful call centre in India had no idea that that message was on the end of the etickets and hence couldn't answer the question. They just said call the Irish embassy in America.

What?!?! Total clueless rubbish. Anyone have any ideas? Has anyone flown to America with Delta over ebookers recently?

    Cheers,
    Quad

    Dont worry about it.

Call delta and explain it to them, they will sort it.
Give them the reference number of the booking.

    01 8444166

Thats their main Dublin number, they may give you their call centre number from Ireland but it wont be India that you are dealing with.
Last time I rang Delta, it was someone in Dublin that did the booking for me.

You will be fine. I travel in December from Dublin to Chicago on American Airlines and I was fine. What they will give you is a paper ticket recipt before you check in and there might be a rather nasty secuity lady there before you check in who will ask silly questions.

Once you get past her you just go do your US immagration in Dublin and go enjoy your holiday. Most airlines only issue e-tickets now so its pretty normal. Just bring an offical print out of your booking to be sure.
