    Hi there,

I'm fixing up 2 old computers and am almost done except that I have noticed they have no on board sound. I need to get the cheapest PCI soundcards possible, I really dont care about quality as long as they work.

Any ideas where to look would be much appreciated.

Ebay sellers seem to be selling them cheap but charging hefty postage.

I wreckon Maplins might have them but they are rarely cheap either.

    Thanks in advance,
    Robert

    Thanks for the quick reply.

With the delivey it would be €27 for the two of these.

I'm looking for cheaper! (quality does not matter as long as they work).

27 bucks for 2 soundcards, i dont think you're gonna do better than that. Any store in dublin or even ireland is going to charge at least 20-30 euro for one sound card.

Marx Computers have PCI soundcards starting from €10 and if you live in Dublin you can pick them up there. Check the Sound section on their website.
