Zambian national judo squad visit

    For anyone who's interested the national Zambian judo squad will be based at coolmine judo club for the next week as they prepare for the Commonwealth judo games in Derry.

    The Irish judo squad will also be in attendance.

    Its an open randori session for two hours each class. A light warm up followed by randori.

    Classes cost €5.

    Times: tue 8-10 thurs 7-8:30 and sat 5:15 - 7

    We are at the far end of the big hall on the left of the corridor opposite the changing rooms. Luke can show you. I am big and bald and wear a black vest and bottoms.:D

    The gas thing is that I reckon some people come in land look for that and are disappointed and leave when they don't find it.

    Sorry Elytron,

    I was training out in the field as it was a nice evening however I did pop into the class for about 10 minutes. I was standing near the door wearing a light blue polo top while Luke gave me a brief run down on what Judo is about.

    It looks great and I would like to do some or some BJJ when the steep learning curve in Muay Thai levels off a bit.
