Videosenders & Sky+

    So have just installed Sky+ myself without any hitches, no real problems with the install, but now my Lidl videosender will send signal to bedroom tv, but sky+ plus remote wont work - do i need a new compatible videosender for Sky + or another remote enabling product as an add on or what? actually bought another one in Argos but that didnt work either so im bringing it back...

    mine (lidl video sender) works fine
    have you placed the infra-red node correclty on the sky+ box?

    positon the video transmitter's IR emmitter to shine on the Sky+ IR receiver.

    have tried all things , quite frustrating really - anyone heard of incompatible senders with Sky+, my box is a Pace v2 (40gig)

    I have the setup as you except I upgraded my HD. I tried 2 different video senders from Argos and I couldn't get the remote to work with either of them.

    Original Sky remote or the one that works on the Sky+ ?

    have you powered the rf feed and is the channel number the same?

    yes its the Sky+ remote im trying, im aware that the original sky remote wont work...the RF feed shouldnt matter with a wireless videosender - or am i wrong? thought that was only for magic eye + coaxial cable extension from the back of the box.
