    a baby one !!!
u need to do some research on it before u think about just jumping in and looking after reptiles. theres alot more to it than just tank side ...u need to be thinking about heating, lighting, humidity etc

a reptile can live up on 20yrs so think about it very carefully before getting one

    good luck

Sorry mate I have to disagree that would be too big for a baby(hatchling) it would scare it to death and then it wouldn't eat. You could keep a yearling in it but you would need a steal lid with a glass sliding lid and tape it down with tank tape as all snake are escape artists.I would recommend you buy this book before you buy any corns, its the book of all cornsnake books.

As for the charcoal anery b's are quite hard to get in Ireland.I could probably get you a blizzard(amelXcharcoal) later in the year.Corns make a good pet and are probably the best starter snake about.

i have done alot of reasearch its just that ive seen that u can keep an adult corn in a 2'x1'x1' tank on 1 site then a 3'x1'x1.5' and i think u shud do sum research u do not need lighting 4 a corn as this will make them hide and can make some morphs eyes sore

2x1x1 is an ideal size for a baby corn.I kept my baby corn in a 3x2x1.5 from a baby(3 years ago) up until it went MIA a few weeks back.

You can run a light in day time to heat the tank but you will need a bulb guard for it.As for the 2ft tank for a hatchling i wouldn't do it.Buy a small fauna tank if your getting a young hatchling(this years)to start it for the first few months and then move it up when is feeding well. You can heat this with a heat mat covering 1/3 of the tank.

Thats what it is.Its a charcoal and amel at the same time.Where do you live at?Here is a pic of an adult and a hatchling. They are like a snows but have no marking at all.I'm not breeding these I'm bringing them over for england.I don't know of anyone breeding these or that keeps them in Ireland. There bound to be 1 or 2 but not many, these are very rare.Pm me for more info pls.
