Sky+ box not saving other channels

    My new sky + box will not save extra or other channels like BBC3 or 4 for more than a day.or so. The box is never switched off. I never had this problem with my old Sky box. Any Ideas?

    Probably your signal strenght isn't up to much!! My GF has this problem all the time!! When she sets reminders etc the things doesn't store them when it goes past midnight!! She got sky out and they changed the signal settings!!

    Input signal strength and quality on both inputs is usually very good 3/4 or 4/5. Don't know if that is a factor though. I thought the other channels info was stored on the Sky box's memory?

    Seems related on some boxes to Interactive use or schedules / reminders. Sky only have "other channels" to make the box legal so are not helpful on this.

    I'd be very surprised if it is anything to do the the signal level as a box with a failing tuner and then lying in outhouse 3 months, repaired and re-connected had the stored "Other channels". You can't get much worse signal than that!
