    It's just one year since the Velocity 2005 Conference. http://www.velo-city2005.com/

    Anyone know what benefits came out of it?

    The site is still up, but there's no report of any outcomes.

    I don't think there have been a any major benefits.

    * No cycle policy document
    * No new cycling design manual
    * No DTO cycle forum meetings
    * No general 30 km/h in city streets
    * No HGV's off the streets of Dublin
    * 9 more cyclist have died on the roads since Velo
    * Draft Rules of the Road was only release last week
    * Dublin City have setup a small cycle forum meetings

    Some good things since velo, though I wouldn't not say they are related.

    * Members of Dublin Cycling Campaign (ICC) have had meetings the Minister for Transport, most opposition spokespersons, Chair of RSA, we're working on the NSA, NRA, etc
