I say Meth's album will be **** like the last one. I hear Redman is back too this year- his 90's stuff was class but Malpractice seemed pretty ****. We'll see

Method Man finally got the joke. According to an interview he recently had with MTV, Meth admits that he made mistakes in his career and opens up about his newest project 4:21...The Day After. The Wu-Tang member known to many as Johnny Blaze talked about his epiphany.

s was talking, like I was the worst thing to happen to happen to MCing...and there's n---as out there doing way worst sh-- than I ever did in my life." he said of people's perceptions. "It's like finally getting the joke and figuring out everybody is laughing at you — 'All this time, I ain't know' — but still having that power to strike back at 'em...Like 'I'm gonna reverse the joke. The joke is on y'all, 'cause I get it now,'" he added.

The rapper continued to speak on why he feels as though he was misunderstood. "I wasn't true to myself [on The Prequel] for the simple fact that, look at who I was working with...I'm not trying to take nothing way from Puff, he's the biggest artist on Bad Boy. But Puff with Meth don't mesh. We don't party the same way," he said of the past Meth also went on to explain his new album's title.

"Four-twenty [April 20] is the national weed-smoking day, according to those who chief...I basically said '4:21' because I'm the day-after dude. Plus, four [and] two [and] zero only adds up to six. '4:21' gives you that perfect seven. So this is sort of the day after, a moment of clarity, so to speak. When you're waking up from that night of partying and sh-- like that, what goes down," he explained.

Meth says the album will hit stores in July.

Kool Keith is on a bit of mad one for albums this year, a new Dr Octagon to go with Mr Nogatco and Project Polaroid.

MF Doom with Madvillainy II, VV III and Dangerdoom II gives us something to look forward to anyway. I hope the Ghostface MF Doom callabo is not just called Ghostdoom.

wasn't Cypress Hill - Still Smokin' released months ago? the greatest hits... few names im lookin forward to on that list but dre detox in fall 2007? i thought it was gonna be fall 2006.. and eminem new album in 08? kanye new album in 08? lol bet u any amount of money kanye will release somethin in 2007 if not late 2006 ... half of that is bull****, all the to be announced anyways!

also, isn't 50 cent supposed to have a new album out this summer? i'm fairly sure he said so in that ****ty Game diss he had out there a few months back, and i remember reading it's been pushed back a month or 2 aswell....

Looking forward to the new MF Grimm album American Hunger. It's a triple album! 20 tracks per CD.

Was meant to come out on 6/6/06 but got pushed back to the end of the month. They had some George Bush samples on there and apparently weren't allowed to use them.
