Ha ha the zorb ball fantastic if you ever get to have a go, I actually bungee jumped the ball, (it was terrible looking)

I worked with the guy that owned the zorb a few years ago at Mars Sport show at the point.

AFAIK they didnt get insurance, so they had to shut down to the public.

According to John Jakes' North and South

In the US in the 1850s a slave displeased his master.

The master became so enraged that he ordered the slave be put into a wooden barrel with nails hammered into it from all sides. The barrel was then rolled down a hill with him inside.

The slave was unable to work from his injuries and subsequently committed suicide.

OP : There's a mobile number listed on the site for the person that runs it. Did you try ringing the number and asking?

I didn't like it (did it in the US). I guess if your not moving that fast it wouldn't be so bad but I went down a steep incline and you have no easy way to stop the ball.

    Bungie is more fun.

Or even click enter on the site?

It's BIG! It's ROUND! And it's going to Explode across Ireland in 2006!

About as wild as it gets, the Zorb Sled is our first prototype and has only just been completed - The Zorb sits up on a large dish which is pulled back about 40ft by a powerful winch against two very thick bungee cords. After it is released you can guess the rest...

The acceleration is pretty impressive and gets the ball to about 40mph in under 2 seconds. The trolley slams into a spring loaded stopper and immediately recoils. The Zorb on the other hand, departs swiftly and goes about its business...non too slowly either it could be said..
