    Hi Folks,
Usually in the north, a few of us are heading down to Dublin in a few weeks for a gig. We're looking for some form of budget accommodation. The others are looking something cheap, but I'm looking for something more "secure". I guess we're just looking for somewhere to sleep for the night, we're not really looking for breakfast, tea-and-coffee-making-facilities :), even showers. But somewhere decent-ish. We'll be heading out for a few pints after the gig, so will be coming in lateish too.

Any ideas where we could say?

    Cheers,
    S.

(Mods, had a look in the accommodation forum and this doesn't seem to be appropriate for there, so posted it here. Feel free to move, but please keep it here for a few replys. Cheers.

Try Jacobs INN its right beside store st police station and if you get a room at the back you an see what the cops are doing in the back yard. Can't get more secure than this. The Hostel is new, safe and clean.

I've stayed in Globetrotters a couple times. It's clean, inexpensive and the breakfast is great.

Lol, thanks jjbrien. Grrr I hate that Globetrotters website. Probably should say, I hate the thought of those shared dorms. It's just a personal thing - I'd much rather have a seperate room away from strangers... Then I suppose this will affect the prices.

Thanks folks, checked those out - having a bit of a problem with availability. It looks like they don't like you staying for just one night :(
Boardsters' front rooms also welcome ;)
