I like "clicky" keyboards but I need to find a quiet one. Any suggestions. I'm using standard Dells ones at the moment. My old logitech isn't any quieter.

Mine isnt too bad, though its a laptop one, more of a soft sounding click. Dont know anything about getting a less clicky one :(

Missus made me buy a quieter one but eventually it went back to clicky.

I don't know how you feel about Natural keyboards but I have the Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 and it's very quiet. I'd highly recommend it.

Tired them in the past, made it hard to use a normal keyboard everywhere else.

hehe I know what you mean. But the two places I use a PC most are at home and in work - and have natural in both places.

I have the same keyboard as macros (in work only). Quiet as a mouse.

The dell ones are very quiet when new and get progressively noisier until they sound like an IBM Model M, except with mushy keys.

mine started loud but has quitened down nicely. I can't stand listening to people typing on clicky keyboards. Especially those people who have to bang every key and end each line with a whack

The diNovo media desktop from Logitech is the quietest keyboard i've ever used - it feels the same as laptop keyboard but obviously is full size. Best keyboard ever.

I have Dell ones in work and they're quite noisy alright but doesn't it ultimately all come down to just how hard you hit the keys :D

Maplins are selling a "KeySonic" (who the hell are they?) backlit full size, laptop style, keyboard at the moment - by laptop style I just mean real low profile keys which can be very quite if you're a bit gentle like.... though its about 60 euros.
